Funnest day yet!

Yesterday we went ATV-ing, in case you don't know what that means, it means we went 4-wheeling all over the gorgeous island of Santorini. We spent the day with a Canadian and 2 Texans.

Fun times all around.

We went to Red Beach, saw White Beach, Kamari Beach, Fira, Oia, AND we went wine tasting. 4 wheeling was super fun. Acutally, it was awesome (says Laura😊). Red beach, was cool, all the seaweed had washed ashore and dried out; if felt like we were walking on a carpet. We also had lunch at a cute little restaurant that had a fabulous view--their English isn't that great, but the food was! (stuffed tomatoes with green stuff, haha). Oia was flippin' hot!! I couldn't get my shorts off to use the bathroom it was so hot . . . at that moment all we wanted to do was go swimming, no such luck. We went for another ride though and made our way to Thira, which cooled us down. Driving around the island was by far the best way to see the most and enjoy the scenery; it was so much fun too!

Today, we laid on the beach for 6 hours. We all got burned. The best part was that we decided to splurge and rent beach chairs for the day, but in the end we never had to pay! It was great! And what with all the money we saved we went and had a nice seafood dinner, yum!

It's about 8:15 here and we are headed out on the 10:15 ferry to Athens, so that we can make our way back to Italy. Then it's home after that!

Hey Jen and Laura! I am soooo very jelous of you two. What a great adventure. So glad to hear you are having fun. Jen- Riley is now crawling and pulling him self up on furniture... hes even cuter then before you left. I miss you and I cant wait to see you.. love you

OH MY!! Those pictures are INCREDIBLE!! Seriously, soak it ALL up while you can, b/c soon you will return to the midwest and get back into normalcy. What an awesome experience you ladies are having! It truly has inspired me to travel!! Lookin' forward to seeing y'all in Michigan in a week!! Can't wait!!!
