Rhodes

June will be spent island hopping the Greek Islands. The first was Rhodes. We returned to favorite places, ate at favorite restaurants, and enjoyed the views and the sea. Today, we took the bus across the island, to the ancient ruins of Lindos. It's a great place to explore and enjoy the vistas from atop the Acropolis. Tomorrow, we head to Kos, the ancient home of Hippocrates.

Great times..
Hi Pam,you might already know this,but if you walk up into the hills behind Kardemena.....you will find a Charcoal burners hut..just beyond that in the cliffs,there is a whole band of ancient sea shells...logically this must have been below sea level at some past time...the shells are very beautiful....Kind Regards ..June
