Delightful Paros and Antiparos

I've just finished a wonderful day of hiking and old Byzantine stone walking trail from a medieval city in the centre of Paros named Lefke toward the sea (about 5 km) absolutley magic. I also just returned froma lovely dinner at another small island - Antiparos where I had an eggplant dip with fresh bread, local chilled white wine and a whole fresh BBQ'd squid. What a day. I'll sleep well tonight!

Father and son prepare my dionner of fresh calamari or BBQ'd squid. A squeese of lemon and drizzle of olive oil a brush of garlic and a sprinkle of fresh oregano, salt, pepper and tossed on the BBq behind the son. Notice the fresh dried octopus hanging above.

Aah fresh bread, eggplant dip, local chilled wine lovely seaside table waiting for my calamari... simply devine!
