On their way from Santorini to Turkey the mumbling travellers Nad and Ped found themselves cooling their heels on the Greek island of Naxos awaiting a connecting ferry to Samos and eventually the port town of Kusadaci in Turkey. The weather turned bad and a 2 night stop-over turned into an unforseen rainy and windy 8 nighter after the sea became too rough for the wussy-pussy-scardy cat captains to sail their monster ferry across. The very understanding couple took their time taking in the sights of their hotel room and the 14 inch colour tv while catching up on some much needed washing and the cooking a few homely meals. A classic case of turning a negative into a positive was the end result. And the weather got better too!
