Greek Food and Wandering

From Olympia we headed for Corfu in the Ionian Islands of Greece. Ancient fortress town that was invaded by just about everyone but the Turks. Each culture left something behind. Now it is lots of little shops, museum, cafes and just lovely...but I've said that about every one of these islands. They are all beautiful. The best part of the day was a little lunch at a taverna down by the main square. Food and wine, food and wine ;-) This is the last stop on this wonderful 30 day cruise. Tomorrow is a day at sea and then we head for Venice where we have an apartment waiting for us and we'll spend 3 days. Till then....

Wonderful Greek Food
Isn't Greek food just the best? Our cruise stops as Corfu as well; can't wait. You had a nice blog on Mykonos, but I wonder did you also go to Santorini? We only stopped at Santorini last cruise but it was one of the best and most memorable shore excursions of the trip. Have fun ... and keep writing. We just love to read about your adventures.
