Crete with the Woodhams

Hi all,

Thanks to those who gave us feedback on the blog to date, awesome cheers. Thanks for getting the angels on our side Barb they have been used a couple of times already with sudden ferry ship evacuations at Piraeus port ( see a photo of the near last supper attached !!! ) Voyage eventuallly went ahead and we arrived to a stunner of an early morning in Crete Iraklion harbour see photo, enter angels again as we had major positive adventure and challenges with cab driver and rental car arrangements !! Where elese would you expect to find a new best friend in a near blind cabby who can't speak finding an address that doesnt exist.

Crete lovely, villiage we are staying in stunning all the cliches of water colour and villiage, taverna locals friendliness all true- we have special plans for a neat day for Julias birthday wednesday as she will be the boss that day, went to amazing aquatic park today see photo. Needless to say OSH hasn't reached Crete yet yay!

Trust you are not thinking tooo much about rugby, we aren't!!! Come to Crete!! A TRULY STUNNING PLACE.
Off to pay respects to kiwis who never left care of Tony's dodgy Crete battle tours later in week. Kids amazing. love to all, the Woodhams
