This was a return to Chania 20 years after first visiting. Of course, it has grown, but what surprised me was the snow on the mountains in the distance. The harbor is the same and the pretty, narrow and cobbled streets, with merchants up and down. It made me wish to stay in a small hotel for several days, just so I could linger in the street cafes and watch the people.
