My arrival was timely and I was not too wiped fro the flight. I took the train in from the airport to the main train downtown for about $6. Tip: if your hungry, there are a lot of vendors at the downtown train station. From there I walked a whole lot of the city till my friend picked me up about 7pm.

Frankfurt is mostly a working city, but there are some nice bridges on the Main River and a small old section call Romer where I got a gelato.
