Linde Rolf & Liz We went via Nagold at the edge of Swarzwald to Neunkirchen for Family visits. We stayed a few day in Nagold to prpare ourselves for the up coming days where we will have to talk German. Okay for Liz but I fall back to English all the time much easier for me although I can understand it very well. There is not much in Nagold, it is certainly not a tourist town but around the city is Schwarzwald and that is beautiful. But we had a bit of rain there and than Schwarzwald is not a good time to visit. So we rearranged suitcases. Cleaned up inside the car and washed clothes. Just 200 kilometers to go to Neunkirchen plenty of time. The last day in Nagold we enjoyed a good breakfast, took the luggage into the car and of we went to Neunkirchen. We were told we will have a few showers to look forward to. We had a good run mostly Autobahn. We don't like it for all you do is passing trucks and the slower traffic. We made a few stops for coffee and nature calls. The parking places on the road are not very clean we both

setting the table have a dislike to use the toilets there. Sometimes you have no choice. Told Liz as soon as we are at the Hotel we will have a message from one of the family asking if we have arrived.Of course I was right. We were told the Family was home and we should go there. But first things first we had to check in and unload our gear. After installing ourselves we went to Rolf and Linde who were waiting with Coffee and cake What else is new. You always nicely received. We have been so many times now and knew that the table would be set, loaded with coffee and cake. More of the family wouldl arrive later to join us as a Family get together and have an evening meal Sonja and Joerg who have visited us in Australia were there as well They with Linde did the barbeque. Lots of meat and salads. Have to say it was very cosy. Late at night we went back to the Hotel. No Parking we had to find a place. Was not impressed and told them at the reception. They showed us we could park over the road and it was
safe.We were given two drinking vouchers as compensation. We would meet up with Rolf and Linde again the next day, Rolf is a cousin from Liz We used to go out on motor bikes in the earlier days. Next day we were taken to another part part of the family. They live in Kirkel a place not that far away. We wanted to say Good Bye to all of them for this is the last time we will see them. They are all Family and I know them well but don't ask me how the connection is I have no idea. But it is Family We used to go there in the first week of August. Than there was the Wurst market on and lots of festivities. Once we arrived when we did the overland trip Australia to Holland just in time for this event. We were the whole afternoon there and had to eat more kuchen and drink coffee. The coffee part I have no problem with but all this sweet stuff is getting a bit much. Next day we went to a Hospital in Hombach. One of the Family relations had a problem with walking. Normally we would
have gone to her house but she would not be out of Hospital for a while so we made a visit there. Her name is Inge and she was so happy that we made that effort to see her. That night we had another Family get together and made our last Good Bye's. We left Neunkichen with a some what sad feeling knowing we won't come back there where we had so many good times. Ah memories at least that we always will have. Now on the way to Boppard. Mostly Autobahn. Very difficult to stay away from. Good weather but we still had a hold up due to an accident. All traffic had stopped It cost us an hour to get going again. WE gave the Autobahn away and proceeded along country road and along the Rhine. We arrived in Boppard early afternoon. We did have a few heavy showers, that cleaned the car a bit. We noted that it was very quiet with tourists. Not so many as other years. It was the same in Boppard. We found easy a park usual very difficult in Boppard. Anyway that will be a story for later. Thanks for reading our
