Central Europe Tour:Day 09 - Salzburg to Frankfurt

Last day full day of trip before getting on the long ride to USA. We had to pay separately for breakfast here. After our morning duties, we checked the breakfast spread to see if it is worh paying 15 euros per plate. The spread seemed good. We finised our breakfast in the hotel itself before checking out. Front desk folks were willing to hold the luggage for us. Our flight to Frankfurt was to leave at 1:51 PM. We planned to return to the hotel by 1 PM. Since the train station was only 0.5 kms, we decided to walk to the station. After leaving the bags, we again walked to Salzburg old town.

Walked via mirabell gardens back to the hotel

Picked up the luggage. In the train station by 1:20 PM

Train left at 1:51 PM. Here this is a EC train. We got coupe type of coach. Two extra seats nobody occupied. It was good to travel this way. Reminded of younger days!

Switched train at Munich - ICE chair car train since we had to go to Frankfurt airport. The previous train was going to Frankfurt Main but not airport
