I was very excited about being back in Berlin. There is a lot that I want to see that I didn't get around to last time.

Had a quick shower and walked to the train station with my crappy map supplied to me by the hostel. I had to catch a train on the S-Bahn and then the U-Bahn. Was quite confused about which direction the trains were going, hoped for the best and ended up at a major station. Then caught the U-Bahn to Unter ven Linden. As I walked up the stairs the Brandenburg Gate was in front of me and so was a huge soccer ball. The city was full of tourists. I went into the huge soccer ball and saw some soccer stuff and soccer shoes. There was also the World Cup made of gold.

I then walked to the Reischtag, which is the government building. Waited for about half an hour and then was allowed in. Caught the lift to the roof, walked around and tried to spot some of the city's sites. Then walked to the top of the glass dome.

Had lunch opposite the Holocaust Memorial and then went in to the museum

The prize at the end of all the matches- the golden world cup
under the memorial. It was really informative, had a great time line of events. Lots of information about individuals and their families who suffered. Another depressing museum! Cuaght the train back to the hostel and met some of the other girls who are part of the tour. We went downstairs and met the tour leader and the rest of the crew. We went to a pub and watched the end of the Australia v Brazil game. Saw the second goal being scored.

Went to bed, it was impossible to sleep as there was lots of noise coming from the bar downstairs and the room was very hot.
