Week 22: Berlin

Hi Everyone,

This past weekend was Berlin.
First impression is that it is very much a German city - extremely clean and organized, but lacking the flair of Rome/Barcelona/Paris.
I can't put a definite finger on it, but I think it's mainly down to how much newer everything is. The monuments are scattered amongst bright new buildings instead of through crowded alleyways and corner shops.

That being said, it was a lot of fun. While exploring Brandenburg gate on Saturday, we ran into the annual gay pride parade. Beer, currywurst, and costumes everywhere :D
