The Romantic Road begins

We headed off by bus to Wurzberg which starts the Romantic Road journey.
Off to Weikersheim to check out the beautiful gardens.
Then on to Rothenberg, an amazing medieval walled city.
The was an annual festival on when we arrived, which was amazing, with people in period costume all over the city. They were performing in groups, singing, dancing, having mock fights etc
We took so many photos!
Street food for lunch in the medieval market.
So much to see all afternoon !
Local food for dinner at our hotel.
A tour with the night watchman before bed.
