Getting to Cassis wasn't as easy as we had hoped, but when we finally did arrive it was definitely worth the effort. It was a beautiful port town in the shadow of an old castle perched atop a cliff. The ocean was cool and refreshing, and the beach was packed with charred european bodies (quite entertaining). The side streets and alleyways were filled with great shops and amazing little restaurants. Overall it was a satisfying, toned-down taste of the French Riviera. More entries soon to follow.
