Got up 9 just in time for breakfast, the car is jam packed we have extra stuff as well because we brought food yesterday but we are going to have to purchase another bag just not sure how we will fit it in the car, that will give us 5 large bags and 3 carry on (plus the two camera bags) then when we get to Singapore we pick up our bag at the Whitau's and we have a nice round number of 6 bags... Yes that works it's just getting another bag to fit in the car without having to leave someone behind... We squished everything in by 11ish and headed off to Millau and the largest viaduct in the world, it took just over an hour it is quite high but you don't notice it so much when your on a 2-3 lane motorway. Oh my goodness the viaduct is huge it is 2.6 km long and when you get on it is 618m above sea level than at the other end 723m. It has the flashing lights at the top for the planes. We had to drive back through Montpellier to get to our next destination which is Nimes where there is an amphitheatre that is a mini colosseum, since we didn't get to stop and look at the one in Rome we will go here. We arrived and found a park easy enough, yay that's a bonus, they must of had a concert last night or having one tonight because all the gear was set up trucks and police and important looking roadie type people. We had a quick look around Nimes then headed on the road again to Avignon were we are staying in a very quaint hotel in Lez Avignon a township across the river from Avignon, we were supposed to go to Pont du Gard and have a swim because it was 36 degrees today but Mal didn't want to drive in the little cobblestone streets anymore so we walked 1/2hr to Avignon, they had a huge old fashioned Ferris wheel so we went on that much to Mal's horror... He doesn't like heights much we walked around the streets inside the walls and sat at a cafe/resturant and had some dinner at 9.30, it was still very warm Lexie fell over and hurt her leg on the way home so we couldn't walk back instead jumped in a cab. Cup of tea then off to bed
