Poppies to remember veterans.




A house in Bayeux. A beautiful, very French town.

There are some 21,000 German soldiers buried here. Each stone plaque on the ground represents a soldier.


One of the stone plaques up close. This soldier was just 18 when he died.


This hill houses 200 German soldiers whose names are unknown. The statues on the top are that of a latin cross, and then a mother and father looking out at their sons.
