Bonjour from Parie!! Turned out that Paris was every bit as fantastic as I hoped for. The time flew by, and i easily could spend a week there. There is so much to see and do. We arrived in the evening, for a coach tour around the streets of Paris, before heading off to the Eifel tour. Now despite all the antihype I always hear about the Eifel tower, it was still a truly remarkable monument, a real amazing engineering accomplishment. We went up to the second level, for fantastic sights over the city.. It even gets all shiney and sparkley every hour at night, when the lights come on.
The next day was our full day to explore Paris. The hugest tragedy of all befell this tour though, as Tuesday, our only day here, just happens to be when the Louvre is closed........... roar. but went to the site anyway, for pictures of the area and notorious glass pyramid. i plan to return next week to check out this museum.. its too huge to miss.
other cool highlights of paris included the notre damn cathedral, the partheon, napoleans tomb, the efiel tower again.. (daystyle), and climbing the arhe de

triumphe. The evening was really cool too.. i decided to shell out 200$au for a french cabaret show with the group, which included fancy french wining and dining. the show was awesome, including often topless dancers. however some were a little old for my taste... as per usual though, i was for some reason singled out.. again as i was in amsterdam to get up on stage. this one was even more humilating lol. it involved a dance contest against 3 other guys, where we got 1 minute to spastically dance around and win the crowd over. now im not much of a dancer.. so you can imagine the awkwardness. it wasnt so bad though, i think i came a close second.... maybe... or maybe a clear last? there was no competing with old man hans from germany, i was actually cheering him on myself.
anyway, thats enough for now. i will really really try and upload pictures soon. i have over 900 how are things back home with everyone?

the famous French Opera Garnier, hundreds of years old. One of the most interesting cultural sites in Paris for me. Originally home to the notorios Phantom of the Opera. People like Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, have all played here too.
