Today we went to the biggest flea market in the world! We spent six hours browsing and rummaging through old stuff. I got a model of a 1920's British car for 3 Euro and an antique key for 3 Euro as well. When you go to flea markets you have to bargain hard. So first I said "excusez-moi, combien?" which means "excuse me, how much? Then when the man said 2 Euro for another little toy car, I said "un Euro, sil vous plait" and he asked Mum if we were English and Mum said we were Australian so he said I could buy the car for 1 Euro! In the old days France and England had a lot of wars so they joke that they don't really like each other that much now! Also at the flea market we were nearly killed because there was suddenly a huge storm and a big branch fell down from a tree and almost fell on us! Still, we had a great day but I like Camberwell market better because there is more kids stuff.
