Today is a great day, my parents have their 40th wedding anniversary....great day, that they spend in Venice as
cute lovers! Wish you the best for the many more years to come....
Welcome to Paris, to the end of a crazy week of flying! On Wednesday we had a flight cancelled ( with 72 hours notice),
and on Friday night, I missed my first flight in years...
So Monday we started the week by flying from Washingtom DC to Shanghai....long long flight in the front cabin though...
followed by 55 hours in Shanghai....55 hours of cuddles, work...cleaning and ironing to be ready for our next
little trip.
On Thursday night, headed to Saigon to go to pick up Tiffany, and more business meetings for me...and the encounter
with the worst traffic jam I ever encountered in Vietnam....leading to a missed flight. Great to know that we were
on Cathay Pacific....and as usual, these guys are amazing to sort things out.
Leslie was happy we missed our flight, this simply mean one more night with his Mum. But our Paris week-end has
now been reduced to a day trip!
So this morning, after another nice
long trip, we landed at 7am in Paris. On the program...long bath and breakfast
to load energy for the day...another breakfast with Sylvie, followed by lunch with Pam and Karim. By that time
Leslie and Tiffany were ready for a good walk. Started by the Jardin des Tuileries, than my first ( and short) visit
to the Musee de l'Orangerie. The plan was to go up the Eifel Tower...but 90 minutes minimum queue...and Tiffany
starting to feel the jetlag...no way! And you may ask...what about Leslie...no fear...no jetlag...if Papa can do
it, Leslie can do it too...great guy!
They are now having a little nap...me a little gin tonic at the bar of our hotel....and in 45 minutes...back on the
road...tonight we are heading to Morocco...4 continents in a week...I promise...we will slow down...soon!

Merci fiston pour tes souhaits bien arrives tant par le blog que par telephone (du moins nous imaginons bien que c'etait toi... car pas de nom de la personne qui a laisse le message !!!) Avons fait un terrible voyage, super-excellent.... et te souhaitons de meme pour cette semaine avant d'arriver a la maison.... Big bisous a vous trois !
