Where's the bus?

NO WAKE UP!
Well - what a day.
We slept in and went to breakfast late… on our own. I felt very very lonely. It felt horrible after last nights high. There was noone to compare notes with and noone to chat too. I felt bad we hadn’t been up to say goodbye.
I decided to go off for a walk on my own. I went through some lovely parks up to the sport stadium. I turned to take the road back. Unfortunately I ended up in the middle of nowhere. I eventually could see the hotel but couldn’t get there. I had to cross he seine twice and walk for miles. Took me nearly 2 hours. When I got back I ran into Meg and Greg leaving. It was so nice to see someone familiar. I packed our things and headed downstairs for our taxi. This was a new experience. Driving with no lanes and first in best dressed rules! It cost us less than €20 to get to our hotel.
The Waldorf was very small, but nice and quaint. Just what I had asked for, but not what I felt like.
We walked back to the champs Elysee and the Arc for a better look. We ended up having Maccas for lunch. Felt great. We strolled around many of the local streets.
There was a quaint little garen nursery just down from us.

We spent the afternoon doing nothing really. We bought a movie. We NEEDED something in English. We went for something to eat, but it was a culture shock. We didn’t know where to go or what to do. We came back with nothing. I wanted to go home badly!
