A hot and dusty day with a swim and lunch at lovely pools before hiking into Corte - the halfway point of the 2-week trek. Approx 12 kms - 6 hrs - 720m ascent & 1400m descent.

Brutal rainy, cold and windy day. Normally takes 7.5 - 8 hrs with lunch and rest stops, but we just kept on walking until we got to the refuge which we reached in 5 hrs - 1000m ascent & 400m descent.

Wet weather gear on for another overcast and drizzly/cold day - 5 hrs - 700m ascent & 950m descent.

Huge ascent to start with rock scrambling & climbing towards Bocca Di L'Usciolu - 6 hrs - 887m ascent & 483m descent.
