Friday was a sea day as we sailed from Malta to Bonifacio on the island of Corsica, which is part of France. We were able to catch up on laundry and just enjoy the cruise.

Saturday we arrived in Bonifacio, anchoring just off the town. We simply walked the old streets of the town, did a little shopping and had lunch at a local restaurant. We enjoy lunch off the boat for a local change of pace. Bonifacio is a very old city built on a cliff with some of the building seeming to be close to falling into the ocean, as you can see from some of the pictures I have posted. It was a very nice day.

Tomorrow we sail further north to Bandol, France which lies just east of Marseille.
