A Finnish Finish to Our European Adventure!

Josh & AliciaWe stayed 4 nights (3 full days) in Helsinki. On the third and final day we took a ferry to nearby Tallin, in Estonia for a quick day trip. Photos from Tallinn will appear in a separate blog entry which will follow this one.

Everything in FInland is Expensive. As Usual, Kebabs Were Our Cheapest Option
We know, we've been complaining that pretty much everywhere we've been in Europe was expensive, but we reckon Finland takes the cake!

And expensive, like everything else! For this reason (and the fact we didn't want to eat Rudolf) we chickened out and skipped this once in a lifetime cultural experience! And no, we don't regret this one bit!

Design Museum
Nowhere near as good as the Danish Design Museum, which was very disappointing.

Taking the Ferry to Suomenlinna
Suomenlinna is a sea fortress spanning 6 islands and was built around 250 years ago. Today it is a very peaceful tourist destination and home to a small number of residents.
