The Little Murmaid along Copenhagen Harbor
Hello from the marshlands of the Dani Denmark,
I am currently in Copenhagen. I arrived yesterday and will be here for another 2 days
the 15 hours train ride from Amsterdam was great. I had a single cabin and slept like a log.
I arrived here in the morning around 10 00 am. The weather has been great. Cool, sunny, and perfect for walking.
I rented an apartment in the north side of the city, in a newly restored neighborhood called Amerika Plads, walking distance to the center of the city, a few minutes to the statue of the little murmaid, and close to the harbor and the cruise lines. It is beautiful, sitting on a rock facing the Copenhagen Harbor. Tomorrow i am heading to Malmo, Sweden to spend the day. it is just a bridge journey away, about 15 kilometers.
I love Copenhagen. The people are very friendly and helpful. The city is clean and very beautiful, with narrow cobblestone streets, lined with simple austere buildings. It is not as dense as Amsterdam. One feels more close to nature.
Amsterdam is very dense. Plus the smell from the coffee shops and the ladies in the window show cases add

more to the activity of the city. Amsterdam I had a psychedelic experience. I did not know what direction I was going. I felt I need to get out just to breed. Space is a high priced commodity.

Back to Copenhagen, the Nyhavn area is very quaint, it is a street adjacent to the canal that is full of great cafes and restaurants. The parks and the palace grounds are also very relaxing and similar to the parks in London.

Hope you are all well...
Write to you later...

Denmark-Copenhagen has very beautiful flowers and flower shops. There are a lot of flower shops. If you every visit Copenhagen, you should definitely pay a visit to Berring Flowers south of the Kings Park and the Rosenberg Castle. It is famous in the city and does beautiful flower arrangements.
