Happy Australia Day!
As an American I had not heard of Australia Day, but it was very interesting to learn what dishes are considered to be Australian favorites. It looks absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing.

The food looks fantastic.
Wow! The scones look terrific. The saying is "he's a stubby short of a six pack" I think. Love Mum

What a wonderful Aussie Day celebration. The food looks scrumptious. Well done. In Brisbane we had a very unAustralian Australia Day. It rained all weekend. So much for \'Beautiful one day. Perfect the next.\' The backyard party had to become an indoor party. Very unAustralian! I also cooked up an Aussie spread with Damper, Anzac biscuits, Pinapple and Macadamia Cake and Pavlova. The Pavlova came out of the oven perfect but soon turned soft due to the high humidity. Very disappointing. Glad you are still making the most of your time in Denmark. Were all your guests Danes? What did they think of it all?

Australia Day 2013
Hi Pia Yes, I heard that the weather on Australia Day wasn't that good in Brisbane. Not all the guests were Danes, there were people from a few different places too - Canada, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Mexico, Phillipines. I think everyone had a great time. Although I think a laid-back Aussie party is not typically Danish, and might have confused a few people :)
