A chinese proverb says "The palest ink is better than the best memory " Gabby the motorhome is parked in yet another cold and windy car park and is being slowly covered with a thin layer of sand . Silly Sat Nag couldnt find where we were looking for which was a surprise as we were looking for one of the largest sand dune in Europe. It was similar to the Pyla Dune in France . A dune that grows year on year . And big enough to be seen for miles . There was plenty of parking and the site looked particularly popular even at this time of year . 28/8/2022 Zondag – Verplaatsing naar Ertebolle (Farso) Vermits ik mij (kan gebeuren) vergist had van dag met het inplannen van een bezoek aan de 'Monsted Kalkgruber' en we niet meer wilden terug rijden werd dit bezoek dan maar geschrapt. We hadden toch geen goesting om nog ondergronds te gaan. Daarom een ultra korte rit van 48 km tot Ertebolle, een verloren gat aan de Limfjord, eigenlijk een enorm binnenmeer en eilanden verbonden met veerboten. Castellano debajo... Toc Toc... 6h du mat... bougez les véhicules... on embarque !!! et cette fois vers le Danemark... 3h20 de traversée... je n'ai pas oublié le "mercalm"... tout ira donc beaucoup mieux.... La traversée se fait en effet facilement.. On s'occupe puisque pas grand chose à voir sur les côtés... Nous sommes en pleine Mer du Nord ! Heureux de retrouver le Danemark, nous descendrons la côte ouest que nous connaissons deja bien et que nous continuons à découvrir grâce à une carte très bien faite que nous avons reçue au camping... Bien illustrée elle nous met sur le chemin de divers bâtiments ou sculptures à voir. Il fait beau et cela fait plaisir puisque nous allons vers la mer. Nous nous sommes arrêtés à Ebelftoft parce que j'étais attirée par sa position géographique... tout au bout d'une péninsule... Ebeltoft :une petite ville (un grand village plutôt..), pleine de charme, offre d'agréables promenades dans sa grande rue pavée et piétonne bordée de vieilles maisons à colombages. L'une des plus anciennes cités du pays, elle reçut sa charte dès 1301. Hautement touristique, elle mérite néanmoins vraiment que l'on y fasse escale. On y va pour voir la frégate, mais aussi parce qu'édité en 1789 sur des cachots datant de 1576, le plus petit hôtel de ville du Danemark a la cote auprès des fiancés. Romantique à souhait, il accueil plus de 500 mariages par an... Il abrite tout juste deux pièces chaleureuses, dont celle où l'on convole sous le regard des rois du Danemark ! La frégate ... read more
