Just taking it easy

In Copenhagen I didn't really get up to much at all, did tonnes of walking around the city and thats about it mostly. Just did all the touist things, museums, Princess Mary's Pallce (go Tasmanians), the old buildings and of course the Little Mermaid. Yes this is the place the little mermaid was invented and a nice walk out the city will take you to the jamed packed area with tourists (moetly Chinese) to see the statue.
The most interesting Museum would have been the 'Resistance' Museum and how Denmark made there resistance durung the 2nd World War. Really we found out that all Denmarks reststance lasted two hours and the country was taken over by the Germans and during the war it was small groups just vandelising train rails, cars or factories. We had a tour guide who made it sound like no resistance pretty much and of course that is the opinion I got as well. The strange thing is that some people from Denmark joined the Germans and went fighting on the front line (got more money that way) and when they got back from a year away they were not welcome because all Danish were against the Germans so didn't want to accept them back so they joined up to the German police force in Denmark and they were the ones who would be punishing the ones caught vandelising or crimes against the Germans, not the German troops. So it was Danish punishing the Danish who were trying to free there country and it gets worse, when the war finished there was some confusion and the Germans bailed and left the Danish police to themselves and fighting broke out and even after the war had finished there were Danish killing Danish! I didn't really get all that at all..
So moetly just walking around Copenhagen taking in all the sights and it is a very very nice city. Not as big as I thought it was going to be so quite easy to get around and impossible to get lost in which is always nice. There are really big open squares to relax in and a great park right in the middle of the city and I spend several hours in that place doing nothing really..
