We were only in Copenhagen for one and a half days, so rather than pretend we know something about it, we'll just post the photos with our comments. It is quite a quirky city and I hope we've captured some of this in the photos. The only activity we'd recommend as a must to people thinking of visiting Copenhagen - do the Carlsberg brewery tour. It's both informative and intoxicating.

The police sealed off the streets outside the cinema as the protest went past. There was a lot of Emo types in the crowd, who were taking care not to be too enthusiastic.

Two elephant pillars are part of the Carlsberg Brewery. Incidentally, a sun-cross (which most people recognise as a Nazi Swasticka) is on the side of one of them. The sun-cross also used to be on Carlsberg beer labels, but I guess it became a less popular trademark after the Nazi occupation of Denmark.

Inside the Carlsberg Brewery, there are over 13,000 full beer bottles, all with different labels. It is the largest collection of different beers in the world.

This one was interesting, because they decided to put a sculpture of a merman in the water. The buoy is there so tour boats don't become shipwrecks. I *think* it is Frederiksholms Canal, but you'll just have to goto Denmark and check ;)
