Saw The Roots .... & EPMD ...
Were probably the oldest people there but not obviously so - as in the other punters weren't teeny boppers. The Roots brought the house down, from the angle we were at it was weird to see all the movements of people on the balcony to the music, mostly head bopping. It was in a club called Vega which is good with a 70's decor thing going on & is a cross between Red Box & Vicar St in Dublin. After The Roots some of them did a dj set & they were mingling with the crowd (incl. right beside us) this would not happen in Dublin. Epmd were good too but no one in the baclonies this time & they did 1 version of 'Jane' (for those of you into your hip hop) which pleased me. I saw 2 young women there dressed in 2 identical outfits I had in the 80's, so weird to see, just means I am getting old I know.
The rest of the month has been filled with being "On Call" for work, going to out our favourite restaurants & for C's birthday we went a club called Culture Box to see dj Robotnick.
