Today we "walked the wall" of Dubrovnik beginning a bit after 17:00 (5pm for folks in the US). It was a balmy 90 something, so we each sweated like pigs. One might imagine a wall around a city is level...well no. There are many steps up and down, but we began at the section which is the lowest so most of our stairs up were completed early.
The old town of Dubrovnik is quite large (we have a picture for you) where folks lived, ate, and visited the restroom (we shutter to think of the result here without modern plumbing). Guess that is why plagues occurred so often.
We did have perhaps out best dinner so far in the old town. Both of us opted for sea bass (not from Chile), which was quite good, the wine not so much, but desert was excellent says Bird.
Tomorrow we visit the nearby city of Cavtat, while remaining in Dubrovnik another night. Then on to the Roman Emperor Diocletian's palace in Split.
