In 1987, this was the ONLY place I got to swim...for about an hour...then it was off to the next church and random sobe...for 2 weeks. Things have changed since....we will have skipped out on swimming for 2 of the days on this trip! We left the coast for good today. We had to stop early into our trip to take a picture of the photogenic town of Primošten. Then it was off to Letinac. Although Lika was not on out list of destinations originally, I was not going to drive by Letinac and Brinje and be the person to decide NOT to let dad see family. A little cheese, crackers, and rakija later, we bid Nevenka farewell and we were off to Brinje.
We thought Mike had gotten lost on the way. We had to turn around to go to try to find him. Little did we know that he had left his iPad at Nevenka's house.

Drying grain in Letinac. up our wonderful visit and headed out to the autocesta for Zagreb. Traffic wasn't too bad as we arrived in Zagreb shortly before 7. We got unpacked, had something to drink at a cafe right outside our hotel and ate at McDonald's. None of us were all that hungry from all we ate in Brinje, but we ate anyway. After a walk through Jelačić Square, dad sat and people watched as we hit up an ice cream shop.
The plan is to see Domagoj's family tomorrow. It'll be our last full day of the trip.
