B-day hurreh!

3rd time lucky as today immigration came good and I now have residency permit for 10 yrs!!One major headache disposed of. My last weekend at the new Yunets property was so delightful I'm thinking of going again this weekend.Byala is a lovely town with a good range of shops,nice town square and a beach that has a backdrop of flowstones and stalactites just hanging off the rocks and only 8 miles from the house.Botty also loved his hol. home ,though not the beach,so if I go I'll bring him again. The vagaries of the purchase ,not evident at time of viewing ,are just 2 and hardly insurmountable.First the wet room is just that after a shower because of the way the floor lies so currently a mop is needed to swill it down the drain and the cystern is so old in the toilet that it leaks so toilet has currrently to be flushed with buckets.!! Will get Val to sort that before first visitors come!!Also hoping to negotiate for adjacent land belonging to the son who apparently wants to sell. this would provide massive flexibility as the present garden door leads to it through an archway. However it is possible to do a lot with it as it stands. The woods and lake (just 2 mins walk away )are mindblowing in their vastness and I think you could easily get lost there initially. I only went as far as the resident out apiary with dozens of hives ,a processing hut and an owner who gave me a lift back down to the house. Very kindly if unnecessarially. The access to the (complex )swimmming pool will have to wait til previous owners meet up with me down there sometime once they are back in Varna. What more could anyone ask for permanent residency,3 houses,an adorable companion, and now a revamped vehicle since the petrol filter (fitted TEMP in Frankfurt!!) was replaced and 2 pair of shoes on back + 3 brake fluid cylinders fitted yesterday.5 hours (with traffic delay of parts )but only 180 Lv(60 GBP). Can't be bad.Today I squeezed in 2 hours on beach in lee of harbour wall as almost cont wind that's blown for 4 days was chilly(studeno). However out of it it was toplo. Treated K to lunch along with a colleague I'd seen but not really met and tho the weather was still not the best it was fun anyway. Now got to get home in time to get to No 24 and watch Vanya's cooking triumph on TV!! SO ciao for now ,Supergran
