Just returned from a BBQ at Elephant F1 Camping in Ster with Sarah J, Justyn P, Chris and Nicky T and Gavin and Kate W. Campsite is rammed - music is a mix of rockabilly and German techno. More atmosphere than here at the Football Club - but the downside is that anyone trying to leave the campsite before Monday will struggle (a bit like the campsites at the German and Austrian Grand Prix's for those of you that have travelled there).

Cycled back from Elephant camping in an electric storm - we waited until we got back before we cracked open the wine... Now chilling with wine in hands and listening to music. We think all of our neighbour's have gone to bed already (it is 11.30pm), although a couple did suggest we retract our awning when we arrived back (wet) on site, which was nice. We duly spent half an hour packing away, which, of course, will save us time in the morning.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Lewis is starting at the back of the grid; Button is starting 9th (a great result, and well deserved); Jolyen Palmer made it through to Q2 - although I sense that his F1 career will be short lived. I am still waiting for the grid to herald the arrival of Jordan King, son of ex-Supermarket tycoon Justin King... but that's another story. We are heading to Germany tomorrow evening for the next leg of our journey, and to Europapark, home to the best rollercoasters in Europe. Can't wait 😊 and thanks Tone-Lil for recommending it all those years ago. This will be our fourth visit. We are getting older each year - but you are only as old as you feel...

We will update again when we get there...
