School here is very different then school in Canada My school is called St.Augustin Coledge and it is a strict Catholic school. There are a lot of rules. -No one can leave school property at lunch -YOu can not show your solders or middref -You can not hold hands or kiss the opposite sex -Can not smoke on school property The school is very big being about four stories high and also very old. All the classes do not have hardly any electronic using only a chalk board and chalk to teach. Only the English class has computers that i know of. hello everyone, Yesterday and today were the first hot days ive had in belgium, ive been taking advantage of it today and did a little sun tanning which was relaxing. Today is the first day where i have done absloutely nothing which is good for me cuz ive been busy for a while. Yesterday was the welcome meeting for all exchange people in my district, its was pretty boring but after i got to talk to all the exchange people ang got lots of numbers so we can organize things to do together. Bonjour tout le monde, THis week has been a very busy one for me. Im starting to settle down and get used to living life here in this beutiful spot in belgium. I have had lots of great experiences and met lots of really nice people so far so i think its safe to say that im going to have a great year. I have been shopping with my host sister Margerie in Charleroi, seen this traditional march that happens every year in every village in belgium, it has somthing to do with honoring the french soldiers. Bonjour toute le monde After these past few days i cqn only say that Belgium is amazing. I got picked up from the airport by my familly francais, Julie and three men from my host club, They all were happy to see me and i was happy to see them too, i was a little scared that no one would be there to greet me. they all greeted me with one kiss on the cheek. I was assured into their very nice car with my two huge suitcases. Then they drove me to Julies parents house to drop Julie off.
