Poor Brussels. I'd never had much interest in it as a destination in its own right, just in using it to get to Bruges. But I ended up being pleasantly surprised by this city. Hi everyone! Hee hee Katy was probably kidding when she said I should start a travel blog but here I am! It may be a bit self-indulgent, but without Instagram or any other social media this seems like the best way to share my adventures and experiences with family and friends without you having to look at boring pictures of my breakfast and suchlike every single day, and to keep a record for myself too. Really got a feel for it!
I loved both new blogs! It's not just entertaining, it actually gives such good practical advice as well! Am I right in guessing that the original tiny statue is the one with the fountain? I love how bizarre that whole tourist attraction is!

And yes it is that one, so tiny and you can't get that close to it as it's above a fountain and has a fence round it. You wouldn't even notice it if it weren't for all the admirers and elaborate flower display they've added, so bizarre!
