Brussels has a lot of parks, and we are so lucky to live right between 2 of them. We often have a walk in the Warandepark, which is situated between the Royal Palace and the Belgian Parliament. Last week, we decided to go to the other park, which is called Botanique (or Kruidtuin in Dutch). As the name itself says, it started as a botanical garden in the 19th century. In the meantime, it has developed into one of the better-known parks of Brussels and the greenhouses have been turned into a cultural centre, where often national and international artists perform.
Getting to the Botanique is very easy: there is a metro station (with the same name) right next to it, and a lot of buses and trams pass it to.
