One of our 4 nights in ViennaHere I stand atop the pavilion of an Art Exhibition which we couldn't go into this late but it's corner view into these big buildings across the way - whatever they were - made for a great photo and shows off some of the Grandeur of this restored city.
Cathedral In Square, ViennaTo me (Christina) the large old portions of the city, completely restored to its glory since WWII was just BIGGER THAN LIFE! And I love that about it! We had a good time here.
Church InteriorSee what I mean? Everything is so big and GRAND!
Classical Music ConcertI think it was all Mozart. The ensemble and singer were fantastic! There were also two pieces of music with lovely ballet duets presented in a way traditional for that era. It was a first for us and we really enjoyed it.
I thought this a very interesting statuealso in the gardens of the Belvedere where we spent an afternoon looking at original Klimt paintings and many others of the last 500 years!
One of many magical views ofthe beautiful and charming Chesky Krumlov. An old, somewhat hilly city with a river flowing through, cobbled streets and well maintained old buildings. We fell in Love!
Here I am with my suitcase in towthrough the bumpy streets looking for our guest house/hostel where we had reservations (a must as it was a very popular one).
