Vienna
The amazing Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna After having breakfast Billy dropped us off at the impressive Schoenbrunn Palace in the centre of Vienna. It was very gloomy and overcast day today but we weren’t going to let this spoil our day in Vienna. Jamie gave us a deadline to meet back at the bus while we had free time to roam around the gardens of the palace. It was an impressive building in an unusual yellow colour but there really wasn’t too much to do. We didn’t really have enough time to explore inside so instead Hannah and I wondered up to an impressive fountain located at the other end of the gardens before eventually making our way back. We continued to have a look around then met back at the Topdeck coach. Eventually everyone turned up, we jumped onto the bus and Billy dropped us off a little closer to the main sights.
I was really looking forward to exploring around Vienna and visiting the sights however it wasn’t until we got there I realised that there wasn’t a whole lot to do, unless you really like museums. Hannah and I wondered around some incredibly impressive buildings as we got closer to the main shopping

Fantastic view of the Schoenbrunn Palace from the Neptune Fountain district. We were making our way to St. Stevens Cathedral which was a very Gothic and ancient Cathedral. It was another impressive building and from the outside looked like a very dark and evil place due to its Gothic influence. There were so many people here, we had a quick look inside this amazing church then headed off to find some lunch. Afterwards we went to find something else interesting to visit, but to be honest there wasn’t really anything to do here. We picked up a small museum guide and decided to visit the strangest museum we could find. So we headed for the world’s only Globe museum full of globes of the world.
I wasn’t very interested to begin with, how good could a museum of world globes possibly be. But after spending some time wondering around, it was quite good. Eventually it was time to meet everyone back where we were dropped off, and go to the Schnapps museum. As soon as we walked inside it smelt like alcohol. The group was taken around the small shop as we were shown the different types of Schnapps that was made here but we were all to distracted

Schoenbrunn Palace and surrounding gardens from what was in the next room, lines and lines of shot glasses ready for some tasting. The group rushed into the room as we tasted the different types of schnapps, however we didn’t realise that we were only allowed two, and the girl behind the bar was so rude half of us were arguing with her. Afterwards we had the option to stay out in Vienna and Billy would pick us up in 4 hours time, or head back to the campsite early. And since I was in desperate need of laundry I was happy heading back, however Jamie convinced us all to stay out because there was a free film festival tonight. But we soon found out that it didn’t start until after we were supposed to be getting picked up, I was really pissed off, as were most of the group. Instead we had 4 hours to kill and wern’t really in the mood for walking around anymore. We found somewhere to eat and got stuck into some of the local food, schintizals, they were really good. We sat for ages then slowly walked back to the bus and waited for a lift back to the campsite,
