Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, Brown paper packages tied up with strings, These are a few of my favorite things.

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels, Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles,
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings, These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes, Silver white winters that melt into springs, These are a few of my favorite things.

Oh Oh Oh... whether you are a music lover or not it doesn't matter, you just cannot stop singing and dancing in Salzburg specially on your tour to the Sound of Music. Apparently around 80000 people every year from across the world come only for this tour. And don't forget to try the Apple Streuddle!

Dreaming spires, green hills and romantic gardens…the city of Salzburg is nestled between two mountains and the River Salzach. It is no doubt the photographers delight! A picturesque city with small alleyways, quaint colorful town houses, rich castles and palaces, with styled gardens and a large number of churches and monasteries. But above all, Salzburg is most certainly the City of Music.

The Fortress of Hohensalzburg, a 900 year old building is also something that shouldn't be missed, it is considered to be the most well-maintained Medieval Fortress in Europe.
