Do you know the way to San Jose???? La la la la la la la la la! Yes we do! But we left quickly after a night.
Caught 3 buses and a boat to Tortuguero, a national park with no roads only rivers. Been trekking on boat and foot, and have seen a sloth, blue-jeaned frogs, toucan, herons, howler and spider monkeys, iguanas and lots of big spiders.

Spent the evening on the beach in tortuguero, watching a 25yr old green turtle ( 1.3m x 1m) digging her nest with her fins and laying 200 golf ball sized eggs and burying them before heading back into the sea. really amazing!!

Headed on 4 buses and a boat south to Turrialba! a town in the volcanoes! saw a local ferria (party) and had lots of delicious coffee and cakes!!

Whitewater Rafted to Siquerres 22km on a grade 4 river (we later found out 4 people had lost their lives on the river......)

Now in Puerto Viejo a carribean town with a chilled vibe!! Going to Panama tomorrow!
