Whew

We have been very busy!

A few days ago we were doing our independent projects; developed by us, conducted by us, and written up by us. Needless to say, it was a lot of work. My project was on flight response in Ctenosaura similis...meaning I chased lizards around for four days. woooooooo. It actually was a lot of fun, but a lot of work.
Yesterday we traveled to see the mangroves and stayed overnight in the area. We got to go to the beach! It was muddy and smelly but it was a beach. We went for a night swim as well and saw the milky way above (several meteorites) and bioluminescence below...one of those magic times. I really needed that swim after being stuck in the hot marsh lands for a few weeks.
Today though we are all going crazy because we have midterms in two days. Immediately after midterms we have a dichotomous key due and a day and a half to rewrite our independent project papers.
whew!
so much work, so much fun!
