granada to lago de apoyo and back to granada

well we left the bearded monkey yesterday to go to the monkey hut in lago de apoyo. it a crater lake on a volcano. the place is gorgeous. right on the lake u can graba kayak or an inner tube or jump off the dock and swim to a floating dock and lay out in the sun. it was very relaxing there but there was hardly anyone there so after we swam we just kinda sat around and read and played a couple of games of war. mike is beating me 9 games to 8 so far. we didnt know if we wanted to stay another night or not so when we woke up we decided to leave and stay in granada another night and go to san juan del sur early in the morning. we had to walk to another hostel to catch another bus that went straight to granada. it was just me and mike on the bus so that was good. we got back to the bearded monkey and went to check in when mike realized he didnt have the passports with him (yeah he had mine too cause i was afrfaid i was gonna lose mine cause im kinda a retard). then the stress kicked in. we had the girl at the desk call the monkey hut to see if it was still there. it wasnt. then he realized he left it out when he pulled out his camera to take a pic of a dead horse thats been sitting on the side of the road for a couple of weeks. so off he went running to where the bus was suppose to be at i went a few mins later in case he couldnt find it. i got the place first and asked about them and they didnt know anything and the bus wasnt coming back for another 4 hours. so i asked if they had the driver cell and they gave it to me and i started walking back to the hostel to make the call. mike saw me grabbed the number and went running towards the hostel. when i got back the girl at the desk was on the phone with the bus driver and it turns out he gave the bus to another driver without checking it. so we called that driver and thank god he found it and brought it back to us. later we both went and got our hai cut. i got it all razored off so im a chrome dome right now haha. laters
