Hola Johaan, Thank you for including me on the blog subscription list. Ned and I have been to Nica and had a fabulous trip. It is therefore fun to read your perspective. When we went to San Juan del Sur, it was not yet gringo-ized at all. In fact, we took a duffel bag full of t-shirts, duct tape, and other sundries for the kids in the then-village. We also had a fabulous experience at a small eco-lodge. To get there, we had to ford a rather "exciting" arroyo. Looking forward to your notes on Panamá (where we were in March-April). Abrazos, Ann
