West Bay

After clinic (the strike lasted only one day), we left West End to visit nearby West Bay, a nice beach two or three miles from West End. We took a water taxi for the short trip and found, as promised, a beautiful sandy beach, although lined with resorts and (relatively) crowded with tourists. Apparently as recently as ten years ago, West Bay was essentially undeveloped. Today (as you see) there are numerous resorts, condos and restaurants. The beach is nice and sandy though and good for swimming.

Power outages continue on a daily basis...we've invested in a couple of flashlights.
