Stranded on the side of the road with a broken motor, we sit down and wait. Eventually someone will come and hopefully tow us somewhere. A Quiché family that lived where we broke down, came to join us, the 18 year old daughter wanted to know all about us, and the two year old boy proudly showed us his Fischer Price Car that he pushed himself along the dirt road with. Later, one of the Mayan Family members brought us a hot chocolate, it tasted delicious and even if it was made with local water, we couldn't say no.
