We arrived at our jungle home just out of Uvita late on Monday afternoon. We had a nice drive down from San Jose and the roads were all good. We have a wonderful view of the jungle as well as the ocean. As we sit by our pool in the afternoons we can hear Mantled Howler Monkeys in the distance, as well as Toucans. We have yet to set eyes on them though! At night we are entertained by all the amazing jungle noises. Our lovely home has no glass windows, just screens, so you hear and smell everything. Every morning at around 5:30 am we can hear the Howler Monkeys waking up and doing their morning yell. We love it.
