No paddling today. High tide was not until 10:30 am and by that time the sun is way up and not the best time for going on a paddle! Since there was not paddling, we decided to walk the road in front of Cabinas Jimenez.

We saw a few birds as we walked along but the sun was pretty high and we had been late setting off. Got to the end of the road and the gate was across the drive but there was a walk through gate and we decided to go through.

Were walking up the drive and all of a sudden there they were; the fiery billed aracari! Added treat was the discovery that one of the aracari was a young one. Evidently they were teaching it to fly or fend for itself. As usual there was a great deal of carrying on by the young one. Watched them until they moved out of our sight.

Did not see many other birds during the rest of the walk but the fiery billed aracari sighting made our day.
