D, M and I wait in the lobby for super slow free internet access. Overall the Tranquillo backpackers hostel in san jose is the best Ive been to. a great kitchen with outside dining, a tiny but effective pourch out front and most importantly bag storage. I left a pile of things here for my return trip mostly shirts and pants that I won{t need for my trip up north.

Backpacking through Central América. I thought on a trip like this, that the goal is discovery of self through solitude. I realize now that it is a struggle for companionship, a discovery of roots of language and customs (including border crossings) and the surmountable barrier between.
