We left home at about 4:30 this morning, to check in for our 7:10am flight to Houston. After six hours there, we were on a flight to San José. It was a long day!
My first impressions of San José were all of the lights on the valley floor, and the ribbons of light leading up into the hills.
Getting through customs and immigration was quite painless, and then we were met by Fernando, our charming driver who brought us to the Hotel La Gran Via, in the heart of downtown San José.
