Manuel Antonio is a small national park on the pacific coast of Costa Rica. Its slogan (well the one we were given by our hotel) is "still more monkeys than people" - which was quite true (although I must admit that there were times when it was hard to tell the difference)..... CLICK HERE-->

This is the White Capuchin Monkey - there are 4 types of monkeys in Costa Rica that we saw but these were the ones we saw most often and they were also the friendliest.

This was our room at 'Costa Verde' hotel. It was way too big for us and had a balcony with a panoramic view of the beach and the jungle, with monkeys swinging in the trees. Need I say more.

If you look closely you can see my hunky boyfriend coming out of the rugged surf.

Apparently in Costa Rica they eat these in hamburgers.

The iguanas hang out in the trees on tiny branches that don't look like they could support the weight of an iguana.
